  36. AFAIK there's no way to do that in software with Kermit; however, most
  37. modems can do it in hardware: don't drop carrier when DTR is toggled,
  38. that is. So just add the appropriate magic AT command into what you
  39. specify after "set dial init-string". I think AT&D0 will work with
  40. most Hayes type modems.
